Improving relationships with suppliers is critical to having more effective supply chains and increased collaboration. Suppliers bring a lot more to the table than just goods and services, they can also give you valuable insights into your business and broaden the scope of your value stream.
Email is a ubiquitous communication tool but it may not be as persuasive as talking to someone face-to-face. Research published by the Harvard Business School suggests that face-to-face meetings are 34 times more successful than email back and forth.
