Established with passion in 1957 at the Austin Hospital in Victoria to support people with paraplegic injuries, Independence Australia has evolved to a for purpose, social enterprise provides choices for people with a disability or other personal need, enabling them to regain and retain their independence within an inclusive community. As the organisation has grown and diversified, so too have the services that Independence Australia have developed, deliver and fosters for people living with a disability or personal needs.
